Jennifer Mott grew up in New York City, where at the age of twelve she had her first encounter with the love of God. Jennifer’s resiliency was proven during her childhood when faced with many traumatic events. She was always a fighter and wanted more out of life. Graduating from the High School of Fashion Industries in 1999, she became the first in her family to attend college. Jennifer proceeded to go into the field of social work. She graduated from Iona College with a Bachelor of Social Work degree, and then moved on to receive her Master of Social Work from Fordham University. Jennifer has always had a passion to help and empower women and children. Jennifer has served as a licensed school social worker for over ten years, impacting hundreds of lives with her genuine care, love and compassion.
Jennifer has served faithfully in her home church as a Youth Ministry Director for ten years, and currently is the Director of Children’s Ministry. She has served as a mentor and small group leader to young women for over thirteen years. Jennifer has proven to be invested in her community, by creating a variety of programs to meet and serve the needs of others. Jennifer loves to serve and love on others. Her transparency has encouraged many lives.
Jennifer is the published author of I Hate Divorce, But I Love You More and travels as a guest speaker to women’s gatherings. Jennifer resides in New York with her four children.
